Take Me Down Below

Here's a tale of incredible horror
So much gruesome evil done
I had taken this land over
This land now belonged to me.

On my plot there lived a people
Lived a people so peacefully
They had never hurt nor wronged me
But never made me a dime

Won't you take me down below.
For I've already lost my soul.

So I rid me of these people
By flood, gun, by torture too
Never thought again about them
Never cried a single tear

Now the sun goes down this evening
My dry bones bake here all day
No one will take time to find me
All my fortune wasted away.

Take me down below.
For I already lost my soul.

Take Me Home

Met you by the bay that cold dark night.
You said it was too damn early to start a fight.
You took me in; we drank up all your Gin.
Don't turn around, don't make a sound...

...you took me to the hillside when I said take me home!

That's when you took me all the way downtown.
Took me in the dark with no one around.
You said, "hey, climb that wall"; the wall was too damned tall.
Don't turn around, don't make a sound...

...you took me to the hillside when I said take me home!

It was then that I finally turned around.
Saw your pistol so I hit the ground...
You said, hey man, lets make a stand
We could be famous and underground!
...please take me home!
